No , no no no and No… find someone else . This guy is not worth the time money or effort. There are social media pages where you can link up with people in your situation and DM people for their lawyers directly .

You will find the ones who drag things out ( found him) and you will find the no nonsense Lawyers who get things moving .

I found Chris Williams to be slow, inarticulate and distracted. He appeared indecisive and old fashioned. However, he is subject to extreme mood changes and became rude and aggressive towards me. I made an immediate decision to leave his office, however, he physically blocked my path to the front door and despite several requests to stand aside, he refused.
My strong recommendation is to not use this lawyer.

I went and saw Chris Williams in May 2017 after separating form an abusive husband.

I did not like the way Mr Williams treated me as a woman.

I once had to go into his office with my 7 months old baby, he clearly showed he was displeased with that and told he off for touching his bin as she was crawling at my feet.

I found him disrespectful, he used to throw paper on the desk in my direction and wouldn’t even look directly at me.
I find his attitude was one of a misogynist and felt disrespected and not supported in a moment i was very fragile.
regarding his service he provided, he resolved nothing for me,
All i was asking him was to find a way i could go visit my family in France for 4 weeks (my abusive husband refused to let my baby and i exit the country).
He started to ask me all the details about money and assets…

AUD 3 500 later nothing was resolved.
He would not explain things to me and at the end he just wrote a long email justifying himself for what he did.
He pointed me to a mediator Yvette Starwbridge, who was kind,
but she rushed the mediation process.

I found he lacks communication skills,
i dont know if he is smart but he couldn’t explain anything to me his client.

Thankfully i paid him and thanked him and moved on!
The best things i have done it could have been worth.

I was lost i googled a lawyer Fremantle and found him and went there out of despair in a difficult situation but i have listened to others advice which is ”If you dont feel it, do continue” and ”it take sometimes more than one to find the right lawyer” ”listen to your gut feeling”

I have then found JKLEGAL in Armadale who had been constant and amazing in regards to my case. i won custody of my beautiful little girl who is now 3 years old and i thank the universe for putting her on my way.
