Shelley has over 12 years’ experience in ICT Law and general commercial and corporate law, gained inhouse and in private practice in Australia and internationally. Before founding Clearly Legal, Shelley was a senior lawyer with global cyber-security vendor, McAfee, where she drafted and negotiated complex transactions with government and enterprise customers. Shelley has also worked as a lawyer for one of the world’s largest information technology companies, Intel Corporation. Shelley is an experienced drafter and negotiator of complex hardware, software and services contracts as well as general ICT contracts including EULAs, cloud services terms, SLAs, distribution and channel partner agreements, website terms and conditions, warranties, privacy notices and internal company policies. Shelley can advise on tender responses, marketing collateral, pricing strategies, competition and consumer law issues, dispute resolution and data protection. Shelley prides herself on her strong commercial acumen, developed over many years working closely with her business clients. She is focused on achieving outcomes and will think outside the box to resolve her clients’ issues. In her spare time Shelley enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, cooking and long-distance running.
