Sadly my experience with Beacon Family Law was not positive. Initial meeting went well but I was not warned of complications that may arise due to my ex’s pension overseas that had been listed in our settlement. The fixed fee option was initially appealing but ultimately ended up costing more and my case remained unresolved. I changed lawyers and received much more constructive feedback, advice, service and representation and a more proactive approach to bring the issue to a close. Often my emails to Beacon would go unanswered or I would be told that I wouldn’t hear back for at least a week because of other cases in court taking up time.
